Emmons Family

Marcus, Michael and their sister Deavon stopped by Sunday afternoon for a few portraits together. Michael just turned one this past week, and he is walking all over the place. His hair got a little crazy later in the session, and it was so adorable because I remember when I first met him, he was only a few months old, and his hair was pretty crazy then. It has been such a blessing to get to know the Emmons family, and we wish you a very Happy New Year!

Nussdorfer Grandkids

The nine Nussdorfer grandchildren dropped in for a portrait session on Saturday morning following Christmas. (This was after dangerous roads, and one of the kids rolling his car on the way the day before...) What a fun group and it really reminded me of my own cousins. I am one of nine on my Dad's side, and it would have been really neat to have an image like this taken when we were growing up. What a cool idea.

Emma Lou

This afternoon at 2:16 pm, I had the amazing privilege to welcome my new niece, Emma Lou to the world. She has amazing dark hair, and was 6lbs and 15oz, and 20 inches long. My sister is amazing and labored for about 7 hours, pushing for around 15 minutes. I am in awe of her and in awe of the amazing creation the Lord has made. Welcome Emma!

Austin's Cake

Our son Austin turned a year old on the 13th. We had a little star shaped cake made for him to smash up in the studio. It was so much fun! He loved the cake and cried when we took it away. Let us know if you would like to celebrate your little one's birthday with a set of images just like this!

Kara's Holiday Dress

Our friend Kim brough her beautiful daughter Kara over Tuesday morning for a few shots in her holiday dress. She is always adorable, and I love the cute little curls in her hair. Austin had fun running (ok, crawling) around in the studio during her session. Have a Merry Christmas Sandberg Family!

Griffin

Monday evening I had the pleasure of meeting little Griffin for the first time. He was awake for our entire session, and was very easy going. He is a beautiful baby, and had pretty perfect skin too! His big sister Kala did really well during the family shots, which are now online at our Client Gallery site.

Entler Family

Ben and Dan have some of the most adorable smiles. No wonder their Mommy is completely in love! Danny's red outfit was also super cute! This was my first time working with the Entler family, and I look forward to watching these two grow.

Traci, Susan and Mike

Traci, Susan and their brother Mike, brought all three families together for a few family portraits. Mike is newly engaged, (Congrats!) Susan has three children and Traci has two. This was a pretty funny session with all the kids around the same age, so thankfully we had a lot of help from parents. I know the grandparents will love it!

Logan

Right around 2 to 2 and a half yeard old, kids develop their 'picture personality'. Logan has a sweet and shy smile and a little michevious one too! He has a new little brother or sister coming next summer, so it will be great to have them both in for portraits. Merry Christmas VanVleck Family!

Donna's Meternity Session

Donna and Marcus are expecting twin boys this March. I remember how she was glowing when she told me that she was pregnant, and that happiness has not faded at all! These two are such a blessing and Donna and Marcus will make fantastic parents.

Baby Emmett

Hattie & Ken brought thier new baby boy Emmett for his newborn portrait session on Friday afternoon. He is a beautiful little guy and had a heck of a time entering the world. It was so amazing to see this new family and looking over the images brought tears to my eyes. The love you have for your children really is indescribable. I think you can see it in their smiles.
