This weekend we had the opportunity to spend time with an awesome couple, Steve and Amy. (Brent graduated high school with Steve, so it is also fun to reminisce...) They are due with their second child, a little girl, in July. We really admire their faith in God and commitment to each other after facing a very difficult loss a little over a year ago. Their oldest daughter, Faith, was born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) and survived only a month after she was born. After this tragic loss, Steve and Amy have become very active in spreading awareness about CDH, and helping to support other families who are going through the same challenges that they faced.
